During his visit to the Kot Chhuta division, Engineer Nasir Ayaz Gurmani, the General Manager of Operation of MEPCO, urged officials to utilize all their capabilities to achieve the company’s targets. He emphasized that hard work was essential to attain the goals of reducing line losses and improving recovery.
To ensure the implementation of the ongoing crash maintenance program and balancing distribution transformers, he directed the officials to obtain necessary permits and send all two-phase running transformers to the reclamation workshop for repairs. He also ordered the installation of emergency trolleys to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
The General Manager of Operations further instructed the XEN of the Kot Chhuta division to replace damaged and burnt meters and provide new connections. He also directed officials to collect fines imposed on power pilferers and take legal action against them.
During the visit, Muhammad Ashfaq, the Acting XEN of Kot Chhuta, briefed General Manager on Operations. SDOs and revenue officers from all sub-divisions attended the event.
