Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) in Dera Ghazi Khan Circle administration areas have also been damaged by heavy rains and floods. Managing Engineer Operation MEPCO DG Khan Circle Mian Mohsinin Shakeel has said that due to continuous rains and floods in DG Khan, Kot Chhal, Rajanpur and Taunsa divisions, transformers, paws, conductors, meters, and transformers worth Rs 44 Million . Other materials damaged are 760 distribution transformers of various capacities, 680 high tension voltage transformers, 38,340 meters of 38,340 meters, 6,500 new fittings, 1,000 tail oden cross arms, 1,354 pin insulators, 1,500 single-phase meters and 634 three-phase meters were damaged. He said that the 11KV feeders provide electricity in Mapco Rajanpur, Taunsa and DG Khan divisions.
