MEPCO and PESCO are two different companies that come under the supervision of WAPDA in order to distribute electricity to their specific areas. MEPCO stands for Multan electric power company while PESCO stands for Peshawar electric supply company.
For paying PESCO online bill, you need to submit your PESCO bill and for MEPCO you need to visit MEPCO office. Bill paying method is same for both these. The budget and electricity distribution areas varies.

Multan Electric Power Company
On 14th May 1998, MEPCO Pakistan came into existence. It is one of the largest electricity distributing company across Pakistan, specially South Punjab. MEPCO was given license by NEPRA (National Electric Power Regulatory Authority) to serve 13 administrative districts of Southern Punjab. It covers 50 constituencies of National Assembly and 104 constituencies of Punjab Assembly. MEPCO supplies to electricity to about 34 million people of its area.
Peshawar Electric Supply Company
PESCO also came under the license of NEPRA to serve its areas. It supplies electricity to about 2.6 million people. PESCO is not as big as MEPCO is. But the work procedure and initiative of both these public companies is same. Both strive for the development of ones country specially area.
How To Check Your Electricity Bill?
Whether MEPCO or PESCO, the checking procedure of bills for both these companies is the same. When you will open a website, you will notice a search bar. There you have to type 14-digit reference number. You can get a reference number from any of your previous bills. It is present on the top right corner.
Type that reference number and click on generate button. Your bill will be generated whether MEPCO or PESCO. This is named a duplicate bill. You can also calculate your bills through our bill calculator. With the help of bill calculator, you can make estimate of your upcoming bills.
You can also save your units by calculating bills earlier. This will help you save your money earlier.
